Methods of Payment of Contributions and Charges

The school relies heavily on payments to cover the cost of materials, services and facilities used by all students in each educational program. Payment of the Voluntary Contributions is optional, however very beneficial. School Charges, however, are compulsory, if you would like to know more about your current balance or are unable to pay the full amount due, we have a time payment option available, please see the front office administration staff for more information. Your continued support of the school allows us to provide all students with a wide range of learning opportunities and this is greatly appreciated.

Payment via EFTPOS (onsite), cash, cheque and direct debit into our bank account are all available payment options to you

Secondary Assistance Scheme

The Secondary Assistance Scheme is available to secondary students – compulsory and post-compulsory – whose parents hold a Centrelink Family Health Care or Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card. The Secondary Assistance Scheme includes the Clothing Allowance and Educational Programme Allowance. The Clothing Allowance and the Secondary Assistance Scheme can be combined to pay Contributions and Charges and purchase articles of uniform.

The Secondary Assistance Scheme is NOT available for students who have claimed or intend to claim Abstudy and/or a Bursary/Scholarship of $1000 or more.

Eligibility – The Secondary Assistance Scheme is available to students enrolled in Years 7 to 12, studying a full-time secondary course. The allowance is paid up to and including the year in which they turn 18 years of age, if they have a parent who is a holder of one of the prescribed cards listed below:

Department of Human Services (Centrelink) Pensioner
Concession card (student name should be listed on the card,

Department of Human Services (Centrelink) Health Care card
(family card only – not for a specific child for medical purposes),

Department of Veterans’ Affairs Pensioner Concession Card

Cards that are not eligible include TPI, TPI Gold Cards, Health Pensioner cards and state concession cards as they are not income assessed. Eligibility for the Secondary Assistance Scheme is based on a parent being the holder of a prescribed card – not the student. If a parent does not have a card the application will not be successful. The card must be current some time during first term – 31 January 2018 – 13 April 2018 and valid for a period of not less than four weeks. To access the Secondary Assistance Scheme and Clothing Allowance, you must produce your current card at the college office and complete the claim form. This MUST be completed BEFORE 13 April, 2018.
